New Music News

I have received good news for the holidays from my publisher NUMERO GROUP.  My music has been placed in the new documentary film "Welcome Space Brothers" directed by Jodi Wille. The film recently screened at the Los Angeles Theatre on November 15, 2023.  Special thanks to my A&R rep Douglas Mcgowan at NUMERO and Jodi Wille for this opportunity.  I look forward to seeing this 1 hour 41 minute feature documentary about Ruth Norman, leader of the Unarius Academy of Science. I have 2 new volumes of music coming in 2024, so I hope to continue receiving more film and TV placements in the new year !!!

New Releases for 2024

 Coming Soon !!

I have been hard at work this year writing and recording 2 new volumes of tunes for my music library. Volume 1 will feature contemporary themes while Volume 2 will be focused more on dramatic/orchestral themes. I will be ready to launch these collections in the new year. I have recruited a great studio group of musicians to add their special talents to this project and am very pleased with their performances and getting to work with them. Here is the lineup.

Bray Ghiglia - Alto Sax & Flute
Dan Haddad - Tenor Sax
Chris Codish - Piano & Organ
Drew Scholtz - Drums
Robert Slap - Guitars, Bass, Keyboards & Percussion

"And the beat goes on".

I just received great news from my publisher NUMERO GROUP, that my music will be featured in the upcoming HBO season 3 series "How to with John Wilson" !!!

Documentary filmmaker John Wilson embarks on an odyssey of self-discovery and cultural observation by covertly filming the lives of fellow New Yorkers while trying to share advice. John attempts to give advice while dealing with his own personal issues. The episodes, framed as tutorials and filmed mainly on the streets of New York City, cover topics from small talk to scaffolding. While each episode initially focuses on its title topic, in the course of his investigation, Wilson meets people and strikes up conversations that lead in unpredictable directions.

How To with John Wilson has received critical acclaim. On Rotten Tomatoes, the first season has a score of 100% with an average rating of 7.8/10 based on 26 reviews. The site's critical consensus reads: "Surprising, thoughtful, and superbly strange, How To with John Wilson's blend of documentary styles comes together to create a singularly delightful experience." On Metacritic, the first season has a weighted average score of 84 out of 100, based on 7 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim".

Daniel Fienberg of The Hollywood Reporter wrote How To with John Wilson is "funny, sad, and, in the end, shockingly profound." Steve Greene of IndieWire gave the series a positive review of an A−, saying it has "a hint of darkness and a wealth of empathy."

The second season received critical acclaim. On Rotten Tomatoes, the season has a score of 100% with an average rating of 9/10 based on 6 reviews. On Metacritic, the season has a weighted average score of 92 out of 100, based on 4 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim".

Looking back and forward to the future
